Being completely ignored is one thing I'm used to in Vancouver. Playing on the street is often like playing at home in my closet. Look at this scene. I'm improvising a nice funky jam for 15 minutes, and no one cares. At 11:11 I to 13:38 I play guitar one handed, thinking that might get attention, as it's considered normal to play with both hands on a guitar. Nope. This doesn't make a difference either. Do I need to stand naked with a sock on my dick? Play with my feet?

The final insult is when this bum at 13:28 stops by and asks ME for money, staring down at my bowl of dimes and then back at me with a snarl on his face after I say no.

They should use this for a B.C tourism poster. "Welcome to Vancouver, home of the arts! Music is in the air! Come on down to the waterfront and watch bums ask our buskers for money. It's FREE."
