about

I'm pushing the limits of human musical endurance here. Playing almost 4 hours of rock/funk/fusion, live with no breaks. As usual, the total immersion and concentration provided some great moments of improvisation where I surprised myself with what I was playing. These moments cannot come when you preplan or prewrite music. It's a completely different process. Playing music live in the moment with no memory and total reliance on imagination is the ultimate rush. Like jumping off a cliff in freefall. The drummer and bassist actually improvise with me and jam. That's how far the music tech has progressed. No more repetitive drum tracks or boring bass lines. Normally I would only have this kind of jam experience in an actual band, but now I can have it at home. This is the definition of the power trio for the new world order where everyone plays at home. Part 1 has 3 bass notes and part 2/3 has one bass note.

about

The Six Million Dollar Guitar Vancouver, British Columbia

I am bionic. I have superhuman guitar playing abilities, and my mantra is better songs, stronger grooves, faster solos. Since my arms are powered with a duracell nuclear battery, I am able to play and improvise for over two hours at a time, beating all previous records set by non bionic humans. Music for working, the bathtub, or running in slow motion. ... more
